Twilight Imperium 4 (TI4) is a beautifully complex and immersive board game that puts players in the roles of leaders of interstellar civilizations, competing for dominance in a sprawling and dynamic galaxy through a combination of political maneuvering, resource management, strategic alliances, and military might. This game will include the Prophecy of Kings Expansion.
A typical TI4 game takes 8-10 hours for a 6 person game so we are splitting the game over two days. This is an excellent opportunity for you to enjoy this thrilling game of intergalactic diplomacy and conquest, while also taking the time to savor and strategize over the game without feeling rushed.
Cost for each of the 2 days: $28 for members $56 for non members (+ tax)
The game will be divided into two sessions, held on the following dates:
Day 1: Thursday April 13th 5:30pm-10pm
Day 2: Friday April 14th 5:30pm-10pm
You should arrive generally knowing how to play both the base TI4 game and Prophecy of Kings expansion (some resources to help with that below) but we will also have a general rules overview and be on hand to answer questions both days starting at 5pm (30 minutes before gametime). During the first session, we will play through the first three full rounds of the game. On the second day, we will resume where we left off and continue playing until we reach the game's conclusion. (Average game is between 5 and 7 rounds). Although this NOT a Learn and Play, it will be beginner friendly.
