Players will take on roles of families that were part of one of the most historically infamous points about the British East India Company. There will be many times where you will have to negotiate and borrow money from other players, fight for a decent retirement, and try to keep your position in the company from going under. While John Company is a very economic heavy game, it does not run like most others as you will often not have control over your own firms and will not have full control over when any of your family members retire. Players will have to rely on one another often to help keep the company running while also trying to use the company to benefit their own goals.
